What Is Hepatitis A & B?
- Hepatitis A is typically spread through contaminated food or water and can cause fatigue, stomach pain, and jaundice.
- Hepatitis B is spread through blood and bodily fluids and can lead to chronic liver disease, liver cancer, and other complications.
- Both viruses can be prevented with safe and effective vaccines.
Who Should Get the Hepatitis A & B Vaccines?
- Kinney Drugs can immunize those age 18+.
- The vaccine is recommended for:
- Hepatitis A: Children starting at 12–23 months, unvaccinated individuals age 2+, travelers, and people with certain health risks.
- Hepatitis B: All infants, unvaccinated children under 19, adults up to age 59, and older adults with risk factors.
